Global positioning system antenna, function - GF82.61-P-4106-04D

The satellite signals received by the global positioning system (GPS) antenna (A2/23)  are amplified in the integrated antenna amplifier.

The output signal is transferred to the GPS receiver via the coaxial antenna cable.

The GPS receiver is integrated into the operating/display unit with control module (A40). 

IMPORTANT The GPS antenna (A2/23)  serves only for receiving  GPS signals; no signals are transmitted.
