	Remove/Install
	Risk of death  cased by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between the columns of the hydraulic hoist and position the four support plates below the hoist support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
1	Lift/jack up vehicle		AR00.60-P-1000G
2	Remove front wheels
	Remove/install wheels, rotate if necessary		AP40.10-P-4050G
3	Support front axle
4	Remove left wheel housing paneling	Only if left shock absorber (1) is removed.
5	Remove sheet metal paneling (8) in left wheelhouse.	The sheet metal paneling (8) must be removed in order to access the upper bolt of the shock absorber (1).
6	Unscrew nut (2).		*BA32.25-P-1001-01D
	Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts	All models	AH00.00-N-0001-01A
7	Unscrew nut (3).	Remove bolt. Installation  : When tightening nut (3), pay attention to outside diameter (A) of bushing (7) and use specified torque.

8	Remove shock absorber (1).	Installation  : Observe correct sequence of rubber bushings (4), sheet metal washers (5), centering disk (6) and spacer sleeve.
9	Install in the reverse order
