Location

The refrigerant pressure and temperature sensor is located at the right front of the engine compartment.

Task

The refrigerant pressure and temperature sensor measures the refrigerant pressure and the refrigerant temperature. The refrigerant pressure and temperature sensor is read in by the front signal acquisition and actuation module (SAM) (N10/1), which transmits its values on the interior CAN.

The AAC [KLA] control and operating unit (N22) reads in these values to regulate the climate control in the vehicle.

The refrigerant pressure and temperature sensor operates in a pressure range of p = 0 bar to p = 35 bar.
