Location
The actuator motors are located on the air conditioner housing.
Task
The actuator motors have the following tasks:
- Fresh air/air recirculation flaps actuator motor:
Operating the fresh air/air recirculation flaps to open or close the fresh air supply.
- Left blend air flap actuator motor and right blend air flap actuator motor:
Adjusting the blend air flaps to regulate the ventilation temperature in the vehicle interior.
- Left and right footwell flaps actuator motor:
Operating the footwell flaps to regulate the air flow to the front footwell and in the rear.
- Left and right defroster flaps actuator motor:
Operating the defroster flaps to regulate the air flow to the defroster vents of the windshield and the side windows.
- Fresh air flaps actuator motor:
Operating the ventilation flaps to regulate the air flow to the center vent and air vent.
The actuator motors are actuated by the AAC [KLA] control and operating unit (N22) via the AC bus.
