  BAS release switch, location The BAS release switch (A7/7s1) is located inside the BAS brake booster (A7/7).  
  BAS release switch, task The BAS release switch (A7/7s1) generates an electrical signal which indicates the end of the BAS brake application.  
  BAS release switch, function The BAS release switch (A7/7s1) detects the position of the BAS solenoid valve (A7/7y1) and generates an electrical signal when changing from its activated to its not activated status (brake released).
