Function for central locking shown on closing CL
The central locking system controls the function "Remote controlled opening and closing" of the vehicle. These convenience features are constituents of the drive authorization system (DAS [FBS] 3).
The EIS [EZS] control unit (N73) has a central function here.
The following functions are performed:
- Managing right/left-hand steering functions and corresponding assignment of front door control units for driver and passenger door
- Managing outer safety statuses and corresponding transmission of closing messages for individual doors, the rear-end door and fuel filler flap according to global/selective preselection.
- Enable and disable of unlocking functions for CL inside switch
- Control of automatic door locking via v-signal, (greater than v = 15 km/h)
- Administers the automatic locking function.
- Control of relocking when a door/trunk lid is not opened within 40 s after CL is opened.
- Control of relocking with door open/closed and exceeding v-threshold again.
- Transmits messages for external securing and external enabling.
- Switching off remote control functions, when key is inserted
- Definition of memory range for determination of selective opening via diagnosis
- Re-enables locking functions after emergency opening (crash).
- Monitors the actuation frequency of the CL (play protection).
The central locking can be operated in various manners:
- By remote control with transmitter key.
- Operation with the interior switch.
- By opening the driver door from the inside
