Combination switch, component description - GF82.30-P-5000G

Location 

The combination switch is mounted on the steering column. It is connected directly to the steering column tube module (N80).

Task 

The combination switch serves the following functions:

Turn signaling, one-touch turn signaling, high and low beams, headlamp flasher, windshield wiper and windshield washer system.

Activation of the individual functions 

The windshield wipers are switched on by turning the front part of the combination switch.

The windshield washer system is switched on by pressing the combination switch in the axial direction.

A brief operation in the axial direction activates touch wiping.

IMPORTANT The signals are read in by the steering column tube module and made available via the interior CAN to each of the control units.
