Remove, install ABS/EBV control module - AR42.30-P-8500GH

MODEL 463 up to 30.11.00 with ENGINES 112, 113, 606

	Remove, Install
	Risk of explosion  from explosive gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns  from swallowing battery electrolyte. Risk of injury  through burns to skin and eyes from battery acid or when handling damaged lead-acid batteries	No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking. Wear protective gloves, acid-resistant clothing and safety glasses. Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.	AS54.10-Z-0001-01A

1	Disconnect ground cable of battery	Installation:  Code radio, set clock, calibrate power windows and set timer on vehicles with stationary heater.
		All models except 463.241 with code 979	AR54.10-P-0003G
		Model 463.241 with code 979	AR54.10-P-0003PV
2	Disconnect plug from ETC [EGS] control module (N15/3).	Release detent on plug.
3	Remove relay module (K40) by pulling it up.	Place it to one side with its electrical wiring remaining connected.
4	Disconnect plug from ABS/EBV control module (N47-7).	Release detent on plug.
5	Release nut (1) from carrier plate.
6	Remove control module carrier (3) by pulling upward and out.	Installation:  The control module carrier must seat against the rubber plugs at the lower and upper right. Ensure that the wiring is not pinched between the control module box and control module carrier as this could cause the system to fail.
7	Remove ABS/EBV control module (N47-7).
8	Install in the reverse order
9	Read out DTC and erase	Using HHT.
