Function sequence for heated outside mirror
The mirror heater is switched on and off depending on the outdoor temperature measured with the outdoor temperature indicator temperature sensor.
The front SAM reads in the outside temperature and transits it to the left front door control unit and right front door control unit via the interior CAN.
At an outside temperature of T < 15°C, the heated outside mirror is switched on and switched off at T > 19°C. If the temperature value received via the interior CAN is implausible, the heated outside mirror is always switched on at the specified function requirements.
