1. Make bracket (10) out of a commercially available body replacement panel having a thickness of approx. 0.8 mm as per dimensions.
2. Grind bracket (10), prime and paint matt black (spray can).

3. Glue felt strips (12) onto the edge of the bracket (10).
4. Glue GPS antenna (2) onto the bracket (10) as per dimensions.
5. Glue on antenna line using felt strips (13).

6. Cut off strip (7) flush to the lamellae of the grille (9) using multicutter (8).

7. Unclip clips (3) and detach insulating mat (6) in the lower area of the hood.
8. Remove expansion rivets (5) and unclip cover (4) from engine hood.

9. Glue felt strip to both sides of mounting plates (14) on hood.
10. Unscrew screw (15) (is no longer required).

11. Insert bracket (10) between mounting plates (14) on hood.
12. Fasten bracket (10) to mounting plate (17) on hood using supplied screw (16), shim and sleeve (24).

    Sleeve (24) serves as a spacer between the bracket (10) and the mounting plate (17).

13. Remove expansion rivet (19).
14. Pull filler neck (20) from washer fluid reservoir.
15. Detach radiator tank drain hose (21) and put to one side.

16. Route antenna line (arrow) of GPS antenna (2) along present wiring and fasten with cable tie.

17. Unclip connector housing (23) from antenna line (arrow).
18. Pry out grommet (22) from inside.
19. Cut off free tab (24) from grommet (22) and guide antenna line through.
20. Seal antenna line in grommet (22) using sealing compound.
21. Install grommet (22).
22. Clip connector housing (23) to antenna line.

23. Route antenna line (arrow) from grommet (22) along present wiring to glove box and fasten with cable tie.
