Remove/install level control valve unit - AR32.31-P-0650T

MODEL 211.0 /2 (except 211.08 /09 /28 /29) with CODE (489) Airmatic (semi-active air suspension)

	Remove/install
1	Empty AIRmatic system using STAR DIAGNOSIS	STAR DIAGNOSIS diagnosis system	*WH58.30-Z-1048-13A
	Special information on AIRmatic		AH32.22-P-1000-02T
2.1	Remove front section of bottom section of soundproofing	Vehicles with diesel engines	AR94.30-P-5300T
2.2	Remove front section of engine compartment paneling	Vehicles with gasoline engines	AR61.20-P-1105T
3	Remove front section of fender liner in left front fender	Model 211.076 /077 /276 /277	AR88.10-P-1300T
4	Disconnect plug from AIRmatic pressure sensor (B7)
5	Disconnect connector (1) on valve unit
6	Disconnect pressure line connections (HA, P, SP, VL, VR)	To ensure flawless performance from the suspension observe the routing of the pressure lines. Seal off pressure lines with blind plugs for the duration of the repair work.
		Installation:  Before assembly damaged pressure line connections or damaged pressure lines must be repaired.	AR32.22-P-2001-02I

7	Unscrew bolts (arrows) and remove AIRmatic central reservoir charge valve (Y36/6)
8	Install in the reverse order
9	Inflate AIRmatic system using STAR DIAGNOSIS to 5 bar	During charging the wheels should not be in contact with the ground, as the spring elements in the air spring bellows would be destroyed if pressurized with the suspension compressed.
10	Check AIRmatic for leaks.		AR32.22-P-8100T
