Quiescent current consumption greater than 1000 mA - AF54.10-P-6400-04T

Possible cause of fault 1:

IMPORTANT Engine 628, 646, 647, 648 only:

A quiescent current greater than 2 A is produced by an internal short circuit in the heater booster control module N33/2.

Measures:

Replace heater booster control module N33/2.

Possible cause of fault 2:

If the quiescent current is greater than 1 A or if it varies in cycles, an error is present in the CAN bus system.

Measures:

Check all CAN bus systems.

Possible cause of fault 3:

A control module causes an increased quiescent current consumption due to a defect.

Measures:

Find defective components.

IMPORTANT By separating components at CAN distributors.
