| 2 | Unclip water drain channel (2) from left and right bracket (4) with long wedge (3) and remove | Figure | |
| 3 | Actuate tilting/sliding roof switch in closing direction until tilting/sliding roof drive switches off | ||
| 4 | Unscrew bolt (5) from tilting/sliding roof | ||
| 5 | Slide pop-up bracket (1) toward rear with long wedge (3) until the slide block (6) can be lifted out of the slide rail (7) | Figure | |
| 6 | Lift slide block (6) out of slide rail (7) | ||
| 7 | Slide pop-up bracket (1) toward front with bracket (4) until the slide block (8) is visible in the opening on the slide rail (7) | ||
| 8 | Guide slide block (6) over slide rail (7) and route guide bolts (9) along wind deflector guide (arrow) | ||
| 9 | Pivot bracket (4) upward and remove from pop- up bracket (1) | ||
| 10 | Pivot out pop-up bracket (1) parallel to the slide rail (7) (arrow) | ||
| 11 | Install in the reverse order |
