Removing and installing driver's side interior fuse box - AR54.15-P-1310Q

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/Install     
DANGER Risk of explosion  from explosive gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns  from swallowing battery electrolyte. Risk of injury  through burns to skin and eyes from battery acid or when handling damaged lead-acid batteries No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking. Wear protective gloves, acid-resistant clothing and safety glasses. Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked containers. AS54.10-Z-0001-01A 
1 Disconnect ground cable of battery AR54.10-P-0003Q 
NOTES Notes on battery All models AH54.10-P-0001-01A 
2 Unclip side cover (1) and remove    
3 Unplug fuses IMPORTANTInstallation:  Observe installation position of fuses.  
4 Unscrew bolt (2)    
5 Remove interior fuse box (F34)    
6 Remove insulating strip (3) NOTES Lever off carefully (danger of damaging).  
7 Unscrew nut (4)    
8 Disconnect terminal 30 cable from interior fuse box (F34)    
9 Release female contacts and pull out of interior fuse box (F34) IMPORTANTInstallation:  Note installed position of cables (mark for identification). Ensure that the female contacts are correctly locked.
IMPORTANT Only release female contacts in fuse base (non-detachable) (5).
 
SPECIAL TOOL Fig 2
Disconnect cables from control modules and fuse and relay boxes AR54.18-P-1261-01QA 
10 Unclip fuse base (detachable) (6) from interior fuse box (F34) IMPORTANT Push release catches (7) inwards and pull fuse base (detachable) (6) out of interior fuse box (F34).
IMPORTANTInstallation:  Observe installation position of fuse base (detachable) (6) (mark for identification).
 
Disconnect cables from control modules and fuse and relay boxes AR54.18-P-1261-01QA 
11 Install in the reverse order    
12 Perform basic programming   AR00.19-P-0200Q
13 Read diagnostic trouble code memory and erase IMPORTANT STAR diagnosis tool.  
14 Check for proper function
