Remove/install cigarette lighter - AR54.10-P-0030TX

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Switch off the ignition and remove the transmitter key from the EIS control unit IMPORTANT On vehicles with code (889) Keyless Go, keep pressing the KEYLESS-GO start/stop button until the ignition is switched off. Remove the Keyless Go chipcard or transmitter key from vehicle and store beyond reach of the transmitter (at least 2 m).  
2.1 Open ashtray    
3 Pull insert (1) out of the housing (3) of the cigarette lighter with front ashtray illumination (R3)    
4 Insert pliers (2) into the housing (3) and pull the housing (3) out of the clamping sleeve (4) IMPORTANT The spigots of the pliers (2) must engage in the cutouts of the housing (3) (arrows A).

5 Disconnect electrical connector of cigarette lighter with front ashtray illumination (R3x1)    
6 Unclip clamping sleeve (4) from the ashtray housing by pressing back the catch hooks (arrows B) (5) and remove IMPORTANTInstallation:  Pay attention to the correct installation position of the clamping sleeve (4).  
7 Install in the reverse order
