Remove/install battery - AR54.10-P-0005P

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
DANGER Risk of explosion  caused by oxyhydrogen gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns  caused by swallowing battery acid. Risk of injury caused  by burns to skin and eyes from battery acid or when handling damaged lead-acid batteries No fire, sparks, open flames or smoking. Wear acid-resistant gloves, clothing and glasses. Only pour battery acid into suitable and appropriately marked containers. AS54.10-Z-0001-01A

IMPORTANT Notes on AGM battery   AH54.10-P-0002-01A 
1 Detach ground line (1) from battery (G1) Model 209 AR54.10-P-0003Q 
2 Remove positive terminal cover (3) Vehicles without code P98 Black Series  
3 Detach positive line (2) from battery (G1) NOTESInstallation:  Ensure that the positive line (2) is firmly seated, otherwise the positive terminal may be damaged.  
4 Detach vent hose (6) from battery (G1) Vehicles with code P98 Black Series  
5 Unscrew nuts (5).    
6 Take out bracket (4)    
7 Lift out battery (G1) IMPORTANT If battery is defective (G1):
 
REFER TO FORMS Dispose of battery. OS54.10-P-0001-01Z 
8 Install in the reverse order
