	Remove/install
	Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lifting platform support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
	Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the running engine	Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
		Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
		Do not grasp hot or rotating parts.

3	Detach lower engine compartment paneling	Installation: Install engine compartment paneling only after the engine test run.	AR61.20-P-1105P
4	Drain engine oil

5	Remove air filter housing		AR09.10-P-1150QB
6	Remove oil dipstick (1).
7	Detach hose (2) of crankcase ventilation system from centrifuge cover (3).
8	Pull the retaining clamps (4, 5) for the electrical wiring harnesses from the oil dipstick guide tube (6)
9	Remove screw (7)	Oil dipstick guide tube mounting screw	*BA01.45-P-1006-01M
10	Lift dipstick guide tube (6) up and out	Installation: Replace the sealing ring (8) of the oil dipstick guide tube (6). When fitting the oil dipstick guide tube (6), ensure the sealing ring (8) is not pressed into the oil pan.
11	Install in the reverse order
12	Check engine oil level approx. 5 minutes after switching off the warm engine, if required adjust to correct level	The vehicle must be positioned horizontally on the wheels, otherwise false measurements occur.
13	Carry out an engine test run and check the engine for leaks
