	Remove/install
	Risk of poisoning  caused by swallowing brake fluid. Risk of injury  caused by brake fluid coming into contact with skin and eyes.	Pour brake fluid only into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing and eye protection when handling brake fluid.	AS42.50-Z-0001-01A

1	Switch off ignition
2	Clean traction systems hydraulic unit (A7/3) around the line connections
3	Disconnect brake lines	Mark hydraulic lines in relation to corresponding connections before disconnecting. Trace line routing to the corresponding wheel. Seal off brake lines and connections to prevent foreign objects from entering the system.

4	Release and detach connector (42) on control unit (N47-5)
5	Remove air pump	Vehicles with code P98 Black Series	AR14.30-P-7251QBS
6	Unscrew and remove hydraulic unit (A7/3) from bracket (37)	Installation:  Rinse off any escaped brake fluid in the area of the frame side member with water in order to avoid paint damage.

7	Detach heat shield from hydraulic unit (A7/3)	With engine 156 Only when replacing the hydraulic unit (A7/3).
8	Install in the reverse order
9	Bleed brake system		AR42.10-P-0010P
	Checking

11	Perform basic programming	Model 203	AR00.19-P-0200P

12	Read out fault memory with STAR DIAGNOSIS and erase if necessary.	Stored faults which may result from wires being disconnected or from simulation during assembly or testing have to be processed and erased in the fault memories after completing the work.	*WH58.30-Z-1048-13A
