	Remove/install
	Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between columns of vehicle lift and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
	Risk of injury  to skin and eyes caused by handling hot or glowing objects.	Wear safety gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses, if necessary.	AS00.00-Z-0002-01A

1	Remove wheels
	Checking
2	Check brake disks (1) at front and rear axle	Inspect for scores and cracks. Hairline cracks can occur due to high stress. Brake disks (1) do not have to be replaced when the crack length (2) is a maximum of 25 mm. With perforated brake disks or those provided with sunk holes (1) measure the crack length (2) including the bore diameter. In the event of gaping cracks and scores deeper than 0.5 mm replace brake disks (1): 4 Remove/install brake disk, brake caliper and brake pads of the front wheel brake:
3	Remove brake pads from the front axle	Vehicles with 6-piston brake calipers at front axle	AR42.10-P-1600AC
4	Remove brake pads from the rear axle	Vehicles with 4-piston brake calipers at rear axle	AR42.10-P-1700P
	Measure
5	Measure thickness of brake disks on front and rear axles using caliper gauge (010)	Observe recommended limit dimensions so that the wear limit is not dropped below before the next brake pad change, if necessary replace brake disks (1): ↓
