Retrofit CD changer in trunk - AN82.64-P-0001-04N

  1. Screw CD player with changer (in trunk) (A2/6) to CD changer (1) bracket with 4 screws (21) M4 x 6.

  2. Branch off standard wiring harness (23) in the trunk at left wheelhouse recess by approx. 300 mm and expose black, 3-pin coupling (24) (CD changer voltage supply).

    IMPORTANT Black, 3-pin coupling (24) is tied back to the standard wiring harness (23) close to the left wheelhouse recess with adhesive felt tape, or to the side wall (arrow) and wrapped with foamed material.

  3. Route opened standard wiring harness (23) according to figure below and attach with adhesive felt tape.

    NOTES Ensure wiring harness is laid correctly and free of chafing points.

  4. Reinsert sound (6) bracket into the left wheelhouse recess and attach with the screw (16) and the nut (17).

    IMPORTANT Sound (6) bracket will be attached later to the left longitudinal member together with CD changer bracket using the M5 x 14 screws (2).

    NOTESDo not buckle or extend fiber optical cable, routing radii have to be larger than 25 mm!

  5. Insert D2B coupling (14) and black, 3-pin coupling (24) (voltage supply) into the CD player with changer (in trunk) (A2/6).

  6. Mount CD changer (1) bracket and CD player with changer (in trunk) (A2/6) with nut (3) and M5 x 14 screws (2, 4) above the sound bracket.

    IMPORTANT The CD changer (1) bracket is mounted to the vehicle's longitudinal member together with the sound bracket with the screws (2) and locked in the sound bracket with the catch hooks (25).

    NOTESDo not buckle or extend fiber optical cable, routing radii have to be larger than 25 mm!
