1. Before the D2B ring can be expanded it is first necessary to determine the current vehicle configuration

2. Check fiber optic cable routing below right rear seat.
3. Remove white (ws) insert for present fiber optic cable module from CTEL interface (A34/4) connector and insert into new connector housing.
4. Insert new M fiber optic cable module with red (rt) insert into new connector housing and lock housing

   The M fiber optic cable module should be just long enough to connect the CTEL interface (A34/4) with the voice control system control module (A35/11). Observe special routing guidelines for fiber optic cables.

5. Connect locked new connector to voice control system control module (A35/11).
6. Insert white (ws) insert for new M fiber optic cable module into old connector on CTEL interface (A34/4) and lock. Reconnect connector.
7. Route fiber optic cable along present leads while observing special routing guidelines and fasten with adhesive felt.
