Retrofit fiber optic cable wiring harness - AN82.70-P-0002-01NA

Subscriber sequence after installation (must be complied with):

• COMAND operating, display and control module (A40/3)
• CD player with changer (in trunk) (A2/6)
• COMAND operating, display and control module (A40/3)

1. Insert D2B fiber optic cable wiring harness (1) into vehicle according to figure.

   The color coding at the D2B fiber optic cable wiring harness (1) has to match the existing color coding at the existing standard wiring harnesses.

2. Route slanted D2B coupling (11) with D2B fiber optic cable wiring harness (1) in center left cable duct to the installation location Command.
3. Route D2B fiber optic cable wiring harness (1) with straight D2B coupling (12) in left cable duct and along existing standard lines, through the cable ducts of the seat cushion and the rear wall into the trunk.

   Do not buckle or extend fiber optical cable D2B, routing radii have to be larger than 25 mm!

4. Route D2B fiber optic cable wiring harness (1) with straight D2B coupling (12), from the cable duct of the rear wall, along existing standard wiring harnesses to the left wheel house recess in the trunk.
5. Mount D2B fiber optic cable wiring harness (1) to the standard wiring harnesses using adhesive felt tape.

   Do not buckle or extend fiber optical cable D2B, routing radii have to be larger than 25 mm!
