  1. Insert black/yellow (sw/ge) lead from tie-out from Telematic frame floor system wiring harness (20) to circuit 15R connector sleeve (Z3/12) in wiring duct next to left A-pillar.
  2. Expose connector sleeve (Z3/12) and solder on black/yellow (sw/ge) lead from Telematic frame floor system wiring harness (20) so that colors match.

  3. Route Telematic frame floor system wiring harness (20) in wiring duct below driver's seat to right side in wiring duct to right A-pillar.
  4. Insert cockpit wiring harness/frame floor system connector (X18) into right wiring duct.

    IMPORTANT The connector (X18) is required only when a two-way radio with taxi emergency call feature is installed. If this is not the case, insulate connector and place in wiring duct.

  5. Route tie-out to TELE AID control module (A35/8) in right wiring duct to rear to control module panel below right rear seat.
  6. Disconnect brown (br) connector from TELE AID control module (A35/8), open by pulling cover (D) off of housing (G) and pull out contact carrier (K).
  7. Insert the following leads into contact carrier (K):
    • Green/red (gn/rt) lead into chamber 11
    • Brown/blue (br/bl) lead into chamber 10
    • Green/violet (gn/vi) lead into chamber 9
    • Green/black (gn/sw) lead into chamber 8
    • Green/yellow (gn/ge) lead into chamber 7
  8. Reassemble brown (br) connector and reconnect to TELE AID control module.

  9. Route brown/blue (br/bl) lead from wiring harness to right side of trunk.
  10. Open connector to special vehicle multifunction control module (SVMCM) (N26/9), insert brown/blue (br/bl) lead into chamber 27 and reclose connector.

  11. Open fuse and relay box (F1) at left front and pull out fuse 18 (arrow).

    IMPORTANT Fuse 18 is no longer required, fuse space remains free.
