Remove/install hydraulic line of power steering - AR46.25-P-3015MD

Hydraulic line (return line) from oil cooler to expansion reservoir

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/Install     
NOTES Before opening the hydraulic system the area surrounding the separation point should be cleaned thoroughly. Even the smallest dirt particles, introduced into the hydraulic components, can lead to malfunctions and a total failure of the hydraulic system    
1 Open engine hood   AR88.40-P-1000M
2 1 Remove left engine intake air duct (1) upstream of the air cleaner housing    
3 Detach return line (3) from power steering cooler IMPORTANTSPECIAL TOOL Seal connections with plugs.  
    SPECIAL TOOL Set of plugs Figure
4 Detach return line (3) from end cap (2) of expansion reservoir for power steering pump TORQUE SPECIFICATION Hose clamp *BA46.25-P-1007-01B 
5 Pull out return line (3) forwards IMPORTANTInstallation:  Lead return line from engine compartment through to oil cooler.  
6 Install in the reverse order    
7 Fill power steering pump and bleed   AR46.30-P-0010N 
8 Check power steering for proper operation and hydraulic line connections for leaks
