Removing and installing lumbar support control valve from front seat backrest - AR91.25-P-1440M

MODELS 220.0 /1 except CODE (404b) Multicontour backrest driver seat except CODE (405b) Multicontour backrest passenger seat except CODE (433) Left dynamic seat, incl. multicontour seat except CODE (434) Right dynamic seat, incl. multicontour seat 

IMPORTANT With model refinement 2003 (as of 1.9.02) the position of the control valve (1) has been changed to the inboard side of the seat.

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Unclip control valve (1) with assembly wedge (3) from front seat paneling (2) SPECIAL TOOL Installation wedge Figure
2 Detach pneumatic line and disconnect pneumatic connector NOTESPay attention to line routing.   
3 Install in the reverse order    
4 Perform lumbar support function check
