1 Remove cover of front seat cushion IMPORTANT On the passenger-side only. AR91.18-P-1800MB 
2 Pull control module with connection line (1) out of the end face of the foam padding (2) (see arrow) IMPORTANT Guide connection line through the slot in the foam padding (2).  
3 Open foam padding (2) on the seat surface and expose front passenger seat occupied and child seat recognition sensor (B48)    
4 Pull fastening hooks (see arrows) out of the foam padding (2) NOTES Pull out the fastening hooks slowly and carefully so that the foam support (2) is not damaged.  
5 Pull out the control module with connection line (1) between the core and seat surface of the foam padding (2)    
6 Remove front passenger seat occupied and child seat recognition sensor (B48) from seating surface of the foam support (2) IMPORTANTInstallation:  It is essential to ensure that the film with the identification "TOP  " (see enlarged section) is inserted upwards.  
7 Install in the reverse order    
8 Carry out diagnosis IMPORTANT STAR DIAGNOSIS
