Remove/install fuel level sensor - AR47.10-P-7000I

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/Install     
DANGER Risk of explosion  caused by fuel igniting, risk of poisoning  caused by inhaling and swallowing fuel as well as risk of injury  to eyes and skin caused by contact with fuel. No fire, sparks, open flames or smoking.
Pour fuels only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.
Wear protective clothing when handling fuel.

1 Drain fuel tank. IMPORTANT If the fuel tank is full (80), start pumping out approximately 8 liters of fuel. AR47.10-P-4001B
2 Remove coverings in trunk Model 215.3, 220.0 /1 AR68.30-P-4600M
    Type 220.8 AR68.30-P-4600MP
3 Remove rear panel of fuel tank    
4 Unplug socket (arrow) for fuel gage sensor (B4) and pressure sensor (only USA ONLY ) IMPORTANT Fuel gage sensor (B4) and pressure sensor form a single unit.  
5 Open bayonet lock of fuel level sensor (B4) SPECIAL TOOL Pronged wrench Fig 2
6 Take out fuel gage sensor (B4) NOTESInstallation:  Replace seal (89/2), in order to exclude an overflow of fuel. Oil to facilitate installation.  
7 Install in the reverse order
