Remove/install control cable for engine hood - AR88.40-P-3100M

MODEL 215, 220 Rear engine hood control cable

	Remove/Install
1	Open engine hood and raise to vertical position		AR88.40-P-1000M
2	Remove left front SAM control unit with fuse and relay box	Do not disconnect connectors.	AR54.21-P-1260I
3	Unscrew bolts (2) from lever (3) and remove lever (3)	Installation:  Pay attention to correct installation position.
4	Unhook rear engine hood control cable (1) from lever (3)
5	Unclip cover (4)
6	Unhook coupling (6) from front end, fold open and unhook rear engine hood control cable (1) from coupling (6).	Do not twist coupling (6)
7	Expose rear engine hood control cable (1) in engine compartment	Installation:  Ensure that rear engine hood control cable (1) is routed properly.
8	Pull out rear engine hood control cable (1)	Installation:  Ensure that grommet (5) is seated properly on bulkhead. Grommet (5) is accessible through left fuse box (F1).
9	Install in the reverse order
10	After installing, check engine hood lock and safety hook for proper function
