Panoramic sliding roof lock-up recognition function
The overhead control panel control module (N70) receives the voltage pulses sent by the two Hall sensors on the sun blind motor (M24m1), Hall sensor 1 (M24b1) and Hall sensor 2 (M24b2) , and uses this data for position measurement .
If no Hall sensor pulses are received for more than 0.2 seconds during sun blind actuation the drive unit is deactivated.
Hall sensor failure represents a denormalization .
The sun blind can then only be closed in increments of t = 160 ms by means of the roof system switch (N70s1) , or alternatively by using the emergency crank.
Overload protection is provided by a mechanical thermal circuit breaker installed in the sun blind motor (M24m1) .
