During trips within the digitized map area, the following information calculated by the navigation processor of the radio and navigation unit (A2/56) is available to the user:

• Current position and route of the vehicle
• List with the streets and junctions to be taken
• Distance from the destination and estimated time of arrival
• Direction recommendation
• Arrow indicating the driving direction
• Name of the road currently being traveled along
• Name of the street, into which the driver is to turn
• Distance to next turn-off

The type of CD is recognized automatically. Actual navigation is supported via voice output.
