Disposing of shock absorber - OS32.25-P-0121-01GC
- Drill damper tube, at a distance of approx. 45 mm (dimension A) from lower damper eye with 5 mm dia. drill (gas escapes).
- Push piston rod all the way in and pull out again.
- Remove protective tube from shock absorber.
- Drill a hole in the shock absorber tube approx. 30 mm (dimension B) away from the top edge of the tube using a 5 mm dia. drill bit.
- Pump the suspension strut empty by pushing in and pulling out the piston rod several times.
Observe regulations governing disposal of hydraulic fluid.
- Dispose of shock absorber (scrap).
