Extract/press in rear axle shaft from rear axle differential - AR35.30-P-0620-02P

Pull out rear axle shaft 

1. Using a suitable tool (e.g. screwdriver, assembly lever), press rear axle shaft (37) out of the rear axle center assembly.

   When pressing out the rear axle shaft (37), do not damage the radial sealing ring in order to prevent leakage. Rear axle shafts (37) with damaged joints or boots must be replaced in order to guarantee full functioning.

Press in rear axle shaft 

2. Press in rear axle shaft (37) until circlip (37g) is felt to engage.

   Align the joint ring (37c) horizontal before inserting, otherwise the splined profile can tilt over when inserting and become damaged.

   When pressing the rear axle shaft (37) into the rear axle center assembly, do not damage the radial sealing ring in order to prevent leakage. The joint ring (37c) must close flush with the rear axle housing.
