Driving out and pressing in left front axle shaft - AR33.30-P-0620-03P

    Driving out 

  1. Drive front axle shaft (60) out of intermediate shaft using a suitable tool (062).

    IMPORTANT Do not damage the plastic protection ring, rubber boots and rpm sensor rotor. Cover steering knuckle and front axle carrier with cloths if necessary.

  2. Pressing in 

  3. Check circlip in the groove of the intermediate shaft and replace if necessary.
  4. Press in front axle shaft (60).

    IMPORTANT In the process align the joint so that it is horizontal so that the toothing is not tilted over.

    IMPORTANT The ball joints must not be pulled apart. Push joints back together again if necessary by pushing and turning front axle shaft (60) in direction of joint. Ensure that the front axle shaft is pressed correctly (all the way) on the intermediate shaft.
