  • Possible cause/Remedy
1.0  Purge control valve (Y58/1)    Connect vacuum tester at Y58/1 between the purge line to the activated charcoal container.

      Engine at operating temperature and at idle speed.    
        After approx. 2 min.
> 5 mbar and pointer swings; in this case, Y58/1 must actuate cyclically.
