Lay new headliner (1) down on suitable clean subsurface.
Shim new headliner (1) in area of cutout for left make-up mirror illumination (E14/1) and right make-up mirror illumination (E14/2) with suitable clean spacers, e.g. foam rubber or Styrofoam pads.
Do not use any hard or sharp-edge objects, otherwise the cover of the new headliner (1) can be damaged

The foam rubber and Styrofoam pads prevent the new headliner (1) from sagging when performing the following steps.
Mark left and right embossment (6) on new headliner (1) with auxiliary line (8), dimension "a". Align new installation frame according to dimension "a" and transfer inner contour of installation frame (9) with pencil.
Saw out inner contour of installation frame (9) with body saw.
Saw out within recorded contour line, otherwise the cutout for the installation frame (5) is too large.

Use metal saw blade.
Install installation frame (5) into new headliner (1) from bottom, support installation frame (5) with suitable clean object from bottom and fold mounting lugs (8) for installation frame (5) over with suitable tool.
Position tool carefully on installation frame (5), otherwise the new headliner (1) can be soiled or damaged.

Use new installation frame (5).
