Retrofit hotel lock wiring harness. - AZ88.50-P-0003-02P

Complete hotel lock wiring harness. 

1. Install contact spring (1) at end of brown (br) line.

   The brown (br) line should have a length of 2300 mm and a line cross section of 0.5 mm²

2. Install contact spring (1) at both ends of yellow (ge) line.

   The yellow (ge) line should have a length of 2700 mm and a line cross section of 0.5 mm²

3. Install round terminal at other end of brown (br) line.

4. Install contact spring (1) of yellow (ge) line in chamber "2" of white, 2-pin connector (3).

   Connect other contact spring (1) of yellow (ge) line to rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2) later.

5. Install contact spring (1) of brown (br) line in chamber "1" of white, 2-pin connector (3) and white 2-pin connector (3).

6. Tie yellow (ge) and brown (br) line together with insulating tape according to dimensions.

   The insulating tape should have a distance of at least 30 mm to the white, 2-pin connector (3).

7. Fasten completed hotel lock wiring harness (4) with white, 2-pin connector (3) to vehicle wiring harness on trunk lid (5) according to dimensions (see arrow).

8. Route hotel lock wiring harness (4) along vehicle wiring harness on trunk lid (5) in left trunk and fasten with cable strap.

9. Route hotel lock wiring harness (4) along vehicle wiring harness in trunk on left to rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2) and fasten with cable strap.
10. Connect brown (br) line for hotel lock wiring harness (4) to Central ground (SAM/rear) (W55).

11. Disconnect black, 28-pin connector (6) from socket "21" in rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2).

    Socket "21" is marked (see arrow).

12. Remove contact carrier (7) from clutch housing (9).
13. Install yellow (ge) line for hotel lock wiring harness in chamber "18" of contact carrier (7).
14. Install contact carrier (7) in connector housing (9).
15. Tie back excess length of hotel lock wiring harness and yellow (ge) line to vehicle wiring harness with cable strap.

16. Connect black, 28-pin connector (6) in socket "21" in rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2).

    Socket "21" is marked (see arrow).

17. Connect white, 2-pin connector (3) for hotel lock wiring harness (4) to trunk lid contact switch (S88/6).
