Nivomat damping element, design - GF32.30-P-4000-03P
The Nivomat damping element, driver-side (10) and the Nivomat damping element, passenger side (11) combine all the important system elements for level control in one housing.
These are:
- Carrier element
- Pump
- High pressure reservoir (26)
- Oil reservoir (16)
- Regulator
The piston rod (31) is hollow and guides a control sleeve, which forms the pump together with the fixed pump rod (17) and the inlet and outlet valves. The damping piston (15) is secured to the inner end of the piston rod (31) with the valve plates. The damping piston moves in a cylindrical tube. Gas and oil are separated on the high-pressure side by a diaphragm.
