| 6 | Unhook backrest cover (2) from around backrest frame (3) | ||
| 7 | Remove backrest cover (2) and rubberized fiber matting (4) as far as possible from backrest shell (9) | ||
| 8 | Remove head restraint guides (7) from front seat backrest | ||
| 9 | Remove covering of seat backrest lock at the upper front seat backrest | Model 209 |

| 10 | Remove backrest cover (2) and rubberized fiber matting (4) with backrest shell (9) from backrest frame (3) | ||
| 11 | Fold in backrest cover (2) at side and at top center. | ||
| 12 | Unhook side upholstery clips (6) from upholstery wires by rotating upholstery clips (6) by 90° | ||
| 13 | Unhook lateral upholstery wire by rotating upholstery clips (6) by 90° | ||
| 14 | Remove backrest cover (2) with rubberized fiber matting (4) from backrest shell (9) | ||
| Install | |||
| 15 | Insert upholstery clips (6) in backrest shell (9) and align. | ||
| 16.1 | Insert upholstery wires into material sleeves in backrest cover | Only when replacing backrest cover (2) | |
| 17 | Pull backrest cover (2) over backrest shell (9) at top. | ||
| 18 | Fold in backrest cover (2) with rubberized fiber matting (4) at side, position on backrest shell (9) and align. | ||
| 19 | Attach upholstery wires using upholstery clips (6) | ||
| 20 | Pull backrest shell (9) and backrest cover (2) with rubberized fiber matting (4) over backrest frame (3) | ||
| 21.1 | Install covering of seat backrest lock at the upper front seat backrest | Model 209 | |
| 22 | Install both head restraint guides (7) | ||
| 23 | Hook backrest cover (2) into backrest frame (3) all the way around. | ||
| 24.1 | Heat backrest cover (2) using heating lamp and smooth | With leather upholstery | |
