Rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module, task - GF54.21-P-4112-01QF

Rear exterior lights, trunk lighting 

The rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2) controls the rear exterior lights and the trunk lighting.

Exterior lights 

HP lamps (High Performance lamps) with an extended service life are used. In order to guarantee this, lamps for which the service life is critical are cycled at a constant effective voltage:

Stop lamp 

The CAN stop lamp request is only recognized when stop lamp suppression is not active.

Backup lamp 

When circuit 15 is active the backup lamp is switched on 0.5 seconds after engaging reverse gear.

Direction indicator lamp 

The rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2) is a flash on and off master.

One-touch signaling

If the combination switch (S4) is operated for < 0.5 seconds, the corresponding direction indicator lamps are actuated for 3 flashing cycles.

Priority of flashing functions:

  1. Crash flashing,
  2. ATA flashing with code (551a) anti-theft alarm system (ATA),
  3. Direction indicator flasher / hazard warning flasher,
  4. Flashing for unlocking central locking and locking central locking.

Luggage compartment lighting 

The rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2) actuates the trunk lighting depending on the signal from the trunk lid contact switch (S88/6).
