No special switchover of units is required for the trip computer (TRIP) because as it adopts the settings and codings of the instrument cluster (A1). The units (kilometers or miles) are switched over by selecting "Settings" in the instrument cluster (A1).

The only requirement is to preset the unit of measurement used to monitor the distance (kilometers or miles). The other units required by the trip computer are then converted automatically.
