Replace complete side roof paneling - AR65.10-P-1020PC

Without replacing center roof paneling

REMOVING Removing     
DANGER Risk of injury  caused by scraping or cutting body parts on sharp vehicle parts Always wear protective gloves when working on or near sharp and non-deburred vehicle parts.
Deburr repair panels.

DANGER Risk of death  caused by high voltage used for electric welding. Risk of explosion  caused by welding in the area of highly inflammable materials. Risk of injury  caused by welding spatter and UV light while welding. Risk of poisoning  caused by inhaling welding fumes. Use insulating mats. Wear protective clothing, safety glasses and protective mask. Remove highly inflammable materials from the hazard area. Use air extractor system. AS00.00-Z-0007-01A

1 Remove detachable parts in repair area    
2 Cover all detachable parts that remain in the repair area Tarp (fire-resistant)  
3 Remove roof paneling at side   AR65.10-P-1020-01PC

Vario Drill WS 91 spot weld removing tool
Round wire brush, braided, ø 70 mm

4 Prepare roof paneling at side   AR65.10-P-1020-02PC 
    Round wire brush, braided, ø 70 mm
Hole punching pliers, ø 7 mm

5 Weld in side roof paneling   AR65.10-P-1020-03PC

    Gap dimensions *BE60.00-P-1002-01E

    Round wire brush, braided, ø 70 mm
Clamping pliers
Electrode miller
Hand riveter
Manual temporary fasteners ø6.4 mm - clamping range 0-15 mm, identification color silver
 
    Polygrip flat round head rivet, 6.4 x 14 mm
Abrasive disk, ø 115 mm, 80 m/s (max. 13,250 rpm)
Insert gas welder,

9 REFER TO MAINTENANCE Apply additional cavity preservation   AP97.20-P-0640-01A

10 Install all removed detachable body components
