Range, inquiry
The range can be called on the multifunction display (A1p13) using the system selection button (S110s3) on the multifunction steering wheel. To determine the range the trip computer (TRIP) of the instrument cluster (A1) requires the fuel level in the fuel tank.
The left tank half fuel level sensor (B4/1) and right tank half fuel level sensor (B4/2) are read in by the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) and the relevant message is passed on the class B (interior) controller area network bus (CAN-B).
