Overhead control panel control unit purpose - GF54.21-P-4105-02PP
The upper control panel control unit (N72/1) performs the following tasks:
Reading in of integrated switches:
- ESP OFF switch (N72/1s1)
- Rear head restraints switch (N72/1s4) (only on model 203.0)
- Hazard warning system switch (N72/1s5)
- Interior central locking switch (N72/1s6)
With code (551a) anti-theft alarm system (ATA):
- TS [AS]/IMS [IRS] switch with ATA [EDW] function display (N72/1s7)
With code (220a) Parktronic system (PTS):
- PTS OFF switch (N72/1s8)
On model 203.0 with code (540a) electrical roller blind for rear window:
- Rear roller blind switch (N72/1s9)
with code (873) front left and right heated seats:
- Left front HS [SIH] switch (N72/1s10)
- Right front HS [SIH] switch (N72/1s11)
- Rear wiper switch (N72/1s12) (model 203.2 only)
Actuating:
- The integral automatic child seat recognition airbag OFF indicator lamp (N72/1e1)
- The illumination of the integrated switches
- The function illumination of the integral switches
With code (228) stationary heater:
- The illumination of the STH switch (N72s12)
with code (873) front left and right heated seats:
- the left front seat heated cushion (R13/1) and left front backrest heated cushion (R13/2)
- the right front seat heated cushion (R13/3) and right front backrest heated cushion (R13/4)
Actuation occurs by means of semiconductor switches.
To exchange data, the upper control panel control unit (N72/1) is connected to the Controller Area Network bus class B (interior) (CANB).
