Remove/install brake booster vacuum line - AR43.10-P-0355VA

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/Install    
1 Reduce vacuum in BAS brake booster (A7/7) IMPORTANT To do this, press the brake pedal several times with the engine switched off.  
DANGER Risk of injury  caused by fingers being jammed or pinched  when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/ rear-end door or sliding roof. When moving components, ensure that no body parts or limbs are within the operating range of moving parts. -
2 Open engine hood and raise to vertical position   AR88.40-P-1000V
3.1 Remove air filter housing Model 171.454/ 456 AR09.10-P-1150VA
4 Pull check valve (1) with vacuum line (2) out of the rubber grommet (3) of the BAS brake booster (A7/7) IMPORTANT Installation: Install new rubber grommet (3).  
5 Detach vacuum line (2) on connection fitting (4) from resonance intake manifold (5) IMPORTANT To do this, bring the red circlip (4a) on the connection fitting (4) into contact and keep in this position. Then pull the vacuum line (2) out of the connection fitting (4).  
6 Remove the vacuum line (2)    
7 Install in the reverse order    
DANGER Risk of death  caused by body parts being pulled in by rotating vehicle wheels and roller dynamometer rollers Do not insert your hand into rotating parts.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Safeguard areas with rotating vehicle parts and dynamometer rollers against unauthorized access.
Safeguard roller dynamometer from unauthorized access.

8 Perform a function test
