40 214 B4 IMPORTANT The vehicle follows the inclination of the road due to physical laws! 1 Test drive vehicle (team supervisor/customer) and verify complaints.  
 
  • Low friction (counterforce) in axle joints as well as in area of steering/jacket tube (gives feeling of good road contact and leads to good return)
 IMPORTANT Make a visual check to ensure that the tire pressure and vehicle level are okay (vehicles with air suspension/ABC not standing at angle) to allow neutral evaluation.  
 
  • Wide base tires have a greater tendency to pull and are more sensitive to rust. If this is the only reason for the complaint, no Remedy is available.
 2 Determine influence of tires.
IMPORTANT Laterally rotate wheels left/right on front and rear axles (even with unidirectional tires).
IMPORTANT If the vehicle is steel not okay, proceed with Step 4.
IMPORTANT If the vehicle is okay after lateral rotation of the wheels, tires which are not unidirectional can remain on the vehicle.		 AP40.10-P-4050Z
    IMPORTANT If tires are unidirectional:

3 Optimize bead seat.		  
    Press wheels off of rim and reinflate analog to AF. AF40.10-P-3201-01AV 
    4 Check axle alignment.  
    IMPORTANT If the vehicle is aligned symmetrically (actual value) and is still not okay in spite of laterally rotating wheels:

5 Check caster as follows:		  
    Model 203 AR40.20-P-0200P
    Model 211 AR40.20-P-0200T
    Model 230 AR40.20-P-0200R
    IMPORTANT Right: Increase caster, increase camber (in negative direction).
Left: Reduce castor, reduce camber (in positive direction).
IMPORTANT This results in a caster difference between left and right of > 2 degrees.		  
    IMPORTANT For this purpose, use castor and chamber correction bolts.

    6 Perform test drive (initial assessment).
