Function sequence
If the rotary light switch (S1) is turned to the "Standing lamp" position, the driver-side SAM control unit (N10/10) sends the signal "Standing lamp On" via CAN-B to the following control units:
- Passenger-side SAM control unit (N10/11)
- Rear SAM control unit (N10/8)
Front standing lamp actuation
The driver-side SAM control unit (N10/10) actuates the following lamps:
- Left standing and parking lamp (E1e3)
- Left front side-marker lamp
(E6/1)
The passenger-side SAM control unit (N10/11) actuates the following lamps:
- Right standing and parking lamp (E2e3)
- Right front side-marker lamp
(E6/2)
Rear standing lamp actuation
The rear SAM control unit (N10/8) actuates the following lamps:
- Left stop lamp, taillamp and parking lamp (E3e9)
- Left side-marker lamp
(E3e6)
- Right stop lamp, taillamp and parking lamp (E4e9)
- Right side-marker lamp
(E4e6)
- left license plate lamp (E19/1)
- Right license plate lamp (E19/2)
If the "standing lamp On" signal with the transmitter key removed is still active, then a chime is emitted over the instrument cluster when the driver door is opened.
