	Remove/install
	Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lifting platform support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
1	Unscrew bolt (6a)
	Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts		AH00.00-N-0001-01A
			*BA42.40-P-1002-01B
2	Pull out left rear RPM sensor (L6/3) or right rear RPM sensor (L6/4) from wheel carrier	Installation:  Ensure that magnetic edge is clean. Fix electrical feed line for RPM sensor in the retaining clips provided in such a way that it is not damaged when the vehicle suspension is compressed or rebounds. Installation:  Lightly grease bore in wheel carrier with MB long-life grease.

3	Remove bolts (1)
4	Press inner paneling of fender to one side and pull rubber grommet (2) out of body
5	Detach rubber grommet (2) from connector (3)
6	Release and disconnect connector (3).
7	Install in the reverse order	Installation:  Ensure that the electrical feed line to the RPM sensor has sufficient play. The vehicle suspension must be able to fully compress and rebound without damaging the feed line. The feed line should not chafe at any point, as this could lead to system failure.
8	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS, read out fault memory and erase if necessary	STAR DIAGNOSIS diagnostic system	AD00.00-P-2000-04A *WH58.30-Z-1048-13A
