Washer pump, function - GF82.35-P-4101-01R

Ground is switched to the  motor for the  windshield washer pump (M5/1) via the passenger SAM control module (N10/11) activating the pump  .

The washing water  is pumped from the washing water reservoir  via the hoses to the windshield washer nozzles by the windshield washer pump (M5/1) 

where it is sprayed on the windshield  via the nozzles  .

IMPORTANT This control is accomplished directly by a semiconductor switch  in the control module  and not by a relay.
