Antenna amplifier module, purpose - GF82.62-P-3105-02R
Rear window antenna amplifier module (A2/12) and rear shelf antenna amplifier (A2/67)
The rear window antenna amplifier module (A2/12) and the rear shelf antenna amplifier (A2/67) tasks are:
- To amplify the AM signals of the rear window antennas or the rear shelf antenna (A2/68) and to transmit them to the left antenna amplifier module (A2/64).
Left antenna amplifier module (A2/64)
The left antenna amplifier module (A2/64) tasks are,
- to filter and amplify the FM and TV signals of the left windshield antenna,
- to send the TV signals of the left windshield antenna to the COMAND operating, display and control unit (A40/3),
- to send the strongest of the four FM signals to the radio (A2) or the COMAND operating, display and control unit (A40/3) (two FM signals are received from the right antenna amplifier antenna module (A2/65)),
- to filter the AM signal received from the rear shelf antenna amplifier (A2/67) or the windshield antenna amplifier module (A2/12) and to send it to the radio (A2) or the COMAND operating, display and control unit (A40/3).
Right antenna amplifier module (A2/65).
The right antenna amplifier module (A2/65) tasks are,
- to filter and amplify the FM and TV signals of the right windshield antenna,
- to send the TV signals of the right windshield antenna to the COMAND operating, display and control unit (A40/3),
- to transmit the filtered and amplified FM signals to the left antenna amplifier module (A2/64),
- to filter out the RRCL signal, to digitize it and to send it to the overhead control panel (N70).
If a radio is used (A2), the TV signals are not applicable.
