Disconnect ground line replaced by switch off ignition

Step 1

	Remove/install
1	Switch off the ignition and remove the transmitter key from the EIS control unit	On vehicles with code (889) Keyless Go, press the Keyless Go start/stop button repeatedly until the ignition is switched off. Remove the Keyless Go transmitter card or transmitter key from the vehicle and store beyond the reach of the transmitter (min. 2 m).
2	Remove bolts (1)
3	Pull the rotary light switch (S1) with the hand brake release (4) out of the lower part of the instrument panel
4	Unhook Bowden cable (2) from the hand brake release (4)
5	Disconnect electrical connector (3) from rotary light switch (S1) and rotary light switch (S1)
6	Install in the reverse order
